Visiting Franschhoek for the first time?  Looking for some peace of mind regarding booking at Villa De Luc? 

Here are a few of the frequently asked questions we've received from guests.

Is Villa De Luc well located?

Absolutely!  Its picturesque setting is unmatched and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain and farmlands. 

 

Will we be close to Franschhoek's town centre?

Yes!  The villa is less than a 2-minute drive to the very centre of Franschhoek.

What if we don't have a rental car?  Can we get a taxi?

No problem. Franschhoek is a popular tourist destination and the town is geared with taxis and shuttles to collect you from the villa and take you into town - or anywhere else for that matter.

Am I getting value for money in comparison with other accommodation in Franschhoek?

For sure!  Our rates are very competitive, considering that the average cost for a hotel room accommodating only 2 people is around ZAR 4500.  At Villa De Luc - you get to enjoy the entire farmhouse from just ZAR 4900; and for a group booking of 6 pax, you'll save about 35% in comparison to booking 3 hotel rooms!

Do I have exclusive use of the property?

Yes!  The property is rented out for exclusive use - no room sharing.  The entire villa, garden and swimming pool is available for your exclusive enjoyment.

Is Villa De Luc "family friendly"?

100%   Half of our bookings come from families wanting to experience Franschhoek in an easy, casual environment.   The Gold Room has twin beds which can be converted into 2 separate beds for children if need be.  We also have a camping cot and a high chair available and the swimming pool is enclosed by a gate for extra safety.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely!  Villa De Luc is pet-friendly.  Please contact us for more information regarding our "pet policy".

Can a cleaner be arranged so that I can relax and enjoy my holiday?

Absolutely! For a small additional charge, we can arrange the services of a cleaner as often as you like.  Please note that for longer stays, we offer an ad-hoc basic clean service which is complimentary.  Just contact us and we'll arrange!
